Homicide-suicide in Umbria

(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 29 - A man strangled his partner then hung himself in the Umbrian town of Tuoro sul Trasimeno, investigators said on Wednesday.
    The woman was found dead inside their home after the man was spotted hanging in the garden on Tuesday evening.
    However, it is thought the incident took place on Monday.
    The homicide-suicide probably followed a "quarrel likely triggered in part by the woman's possible excessive use of alcohol", according to investigators. (ANSA).
