(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 27 - Italian energy giant Enel is
considering building a second solar panel factory in Italy, Enel
Italia CEO Nicola Lanzetta said on Monday.
The plant would be the same size as the 3Sun Gigafactory under
construction in the Sicilian city of Catania, Lanzetta said.
Enel in February inaugurated a worksite to expand its
solar-energy gigafactory in Catania to take its capacity up
from the present 200
megawatts a year to three gigawatts by 2024. (ANSA).
