(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 26 - At least 19 refugees and migrants
from sub-Saharan Africa have died in a shipwreck off the coast
of Mahdia, Tunisia, Reuters reported the Tunisian Forum for
Social and Economic Rights (Ftdes) as saying Sunday.
The Tunisian coast guard reportedly rescued 5 people.
Ftdes said the boat departed from the Sfax area and was heading
for Italy.
It was not clear when the shipwreck took place. (ANSA).
