(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 22 - A 12-year-old boy is dead after
collapsing while playing basketball in the gym of a school in
the town of Favara, in the Sicilian province of Agrigento,
sources said Wednesday.
Paramedics rushed to the scene but were unable to resuscitate
the child.
Favara Mayor Antonio Palumbo has declared that the day of the
boy's funeral will be a day of mourning for the whole town.
