(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 9 - Migrants are among the population
groups deserving special attention, Pope Francis said on
Thursday, citing the Old Testament.
The Bible identifies "three people owed special attention : the
widow, the orphan and the migrant," the Pope told participants
in a meeting on the theme of welcome called the "Cattedra
dell'accoglienza" organized by the Fraterna Domus association
outside Rome.
Francis urged those present "to continue on your path of
formation so that you can better experience welcome and promote
a culture of welcome." (ANSA).
