Teen clinically dead after being shot in hit near Rome

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 31 - Doctors have declared an 18-year-old man who was shot in the head on Monday during a mob-style hit in the town of Alatri, in province of Frosinone near Rome, to be clinically dead.
    The victim, named as Thomas Bricca, was shot by one of two people aboard a scooter while in a street in the centre of the town.
    The attackers then fled the scene.
    Doctors performed surgery on Bricca but were unable to save him.
    The attack may be linked to a war between rival gangs of youths, sources said. (ANSA).
