(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 31 - Jailed Italian anarchist leader
Alfredo Cospito told doctors that he intends to continue the
hunger strike he has been on for over 100 days after being moved
from a Sardinian facility to Milan's Opera prison on Monday
because it is better equipped to given him medical treatment,
sources said.
Cospito is on hunger strike to protest against the tough 41 bis
jail regime usually reserved for mafia bosses that he is being
held under.
The only thing Cospito asked for was some sugar, the sources
said. (ANSA).
