(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 2 - One person is dead and one hurt after
a hang-glider crash near Messina in Sicily Monday, local sources
said.
A 50-year-old hang-gliding instructor died and a 45-year-old
pupil suffered various fractures and was taken to hospital by
helicopter after the crash at Castelmola.
The victim was from Catania.
As well as a rescue team, Castelmola Mayor Orlando Russo went to
the scene.
An autopsy has been ordered. (ANSA).
