Worker dies crushed by rocks in quarry near Brescia

(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 9 - A 62-year-old Italian worker died crushed by rocks in a quarry near Brescia Friday in the latest of a long spate of fatal workplace accidents in Italy, local sources said.
    The accident took place in a quarry at Bedizzole.
    The man was inside a caisson at around 6 am when another worker, unaware of his presence in the dumpster, unloaded by winch rocks and other material which hit the victim and crushed him to death.
    He died instantly.
    An autopsy has been ordered. (ANSA).
