(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 9 - Two hospital nurses were allegedly
slapped, punched and kicked by the relatives of a woman patient
in a hospital near Bari this week after trying to regulate
visitor access to her, local sources said Friday.
After being insulted, the women were allegedly beaten up at the
hospital in Putignano after trying to impose the rule that only
one person at a time could see the patient, the Bari local
health agency said, voicing "the utmost human and professional
solidarity" with the nurses. (ANSA).
