(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 18 - One of three sex workers stabbed to
death in Rome Thursday was killed with a stiletto, probably
during sex, police said Friday.
The Colombian prostitute was found dead in a pool of blood in a
basement in Via Durazzo, in the heart of the upscale Prati
district.
The two other sex workers, both Chinese, were found dead in a
building in the nearby Via Riboty, with stab wounds to the neck,
chest and back.
One was found naked on the landing of a flat and is believed to
have been finished off while fleeing the murderer, while the
other was found inside the apartment.
Police say they fear a serial killer may be on the loose in the
Italian capital. (ANSA).
