Colder air will bring rain from Friday says weatherman

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 18 - Italy's unseasonably warm sunny spell will last till at least Thursday, forecaster Antonio Sanò said Tuesday.
An African anticyclone will continue to fuel the country's St Martin's Summer, said the meteorologist at iLMeteo.it.
He said temperatures in Sicily and Sardinia may pass 30°C in mid-week, "maximum values typical of the summer period".
"But the heat will also spread to the centre and north with temperatures of 25-26°C in cities like Bologna, Ferrara, Florence, Rome, Bari and Naples".
But colder and more unstable currents from an Atlantic front will take temperatures down and bring rain to much of Italy starting from Friday, Sanò said.
The rain will be heavier in the north of the country, he said.
