COVID: 58,360 new cases, 113 more victims

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 18 - There have been 58,360 new cases of COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 113 more victims with the virus, the health ministry said Tuesday.
    That compares to 13,439 new cases and 93 more victims Monday.
    Some 329,569 more tests have been done, compared to 84,220 Monday.
    The positivity rate is up from 15.95% to 17.7%.
    Intensive care cases are steady at 254 and hospital admissions up 65 to 6,993.
    The currently positive are 543,207.
    The recovered and discharged are 22,450,969.
    The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 23,172,370, and the death toll 178,194. (ANSA).
