(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 13 - There have been 45,705 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 66 more victims with
the virus, the health ministry said Thursday.
That compares to 47,763 new cases and 69 more victims Wednesday.
Some 238,253 more tests have been done, compared with 244,746
Wednesday.
The positivity rate is down from 19.5% to 19.18%.
Intensive care cases are up eight to 236 and hospital admissions
down 126 to 6,358.
The currently positive are 539,023.
The recovered and discharged are 22,273,393.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 22,990,201,
and the death toll 177,785. (ANSA).
