(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 6 - Italy registered a record of 6,248
crimes against minors in 2021, the Terre des Hommes rights group
said Thursday on police data to mark the International Day of
the Girl Child on October 11.
Some 64% of the crimes against minors were against girls, the
report said.
Sexual violence against minors also saw a record 1,332 cases
last year, of which 88% involved girls. (ANSA).
