(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 23 - Two young Moroccan men were arrested earlier this week on suspicion of stealing luxury watches in Milan, police said Friday.
The men were caught after looking up on the Internet models similar to the one they had snatched from a female Mexican tourist in the northern Italian city, in order to find out what it was worth, police said.
The pair, a 22-year-old and an irregular minor, have been charged with another watch theft too.
One of them has been charged with assaulting, pushing and pulling, and robbing the tourist of her Royal Oak model 20,000 euro Audemars Piguet in the fashion mecca of Via Montenapoleone less than a month ago.
Another has been charged with stealing an Acquanaut Model Patek Philippe in another central Milanese street on September 14.
