Man arrested for killing wife near Venice

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 23 - A man was arrested Friday for allegedly killing his wife at Spinea near Venice, local sources said.
    The man, said to be "of foreign origin", allegedly stabbed his wife to death in their flat in the small town near the lagoon city, police said.
    The couple's young son was in their home at the time of the alleged femicide, police said.
    The alleged murder took place in the Mantegna district of the town.
    An autopsy has been ordered. (ANSA).
