Italian reporter injured in Ukraine, says he's OK

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 8 - Mattia Sorbi, an Italian freelance journalist, has been injured in an incident in war-ravaged Ukraine, ANSA sources said on Thursday.
    The foreign ministry told ANSA that it was "in constant contact" with the reporter, who was hurt in the area of Kherson.
    "He is being treated. We have positive news about his state of health," the ministry said "We are working to bring him back safely to Italy as soon as possible".
    Local sources said the reporter was being treated in a hospital under Russian control.
    Later on Thursday, Sorbi wrote on Facebook that he was safe and well, adding that communication problems had prevented him from posting online. (ANSA).
