Woman killed by van while jogging in Veneto

(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 7 - A 54-year-old Italian woman was run over and killed by a van while she was jogging in Veneto Wednesday, local sources said.
    The woman, Erika Fantinato, was jogging along a road at San Giorgio delle Pertiche near Padua.
    The van was carrying several workers.
    The van driver stopped and tried to revive Fantinato, to no avail.
    He is in shock.
    The impact was so violent the woman was killed instantly, medical sources said.
    An emergency team and local police are present at the scene.
    An autopsy has been ordered. (ANSA).
