(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 7 - There have been 17,574 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 57 more victims with
the virus, the health ministry said Wednesday.
That compares to 24,855 new cases and 80 more victims Tuesday.
Some 163,107 more tests have been done, compared to 202,240
Tuesday.
The positivity rate is down from 12.2% to 10.7%.
Intensive care cases are down one to 184 and hospital admissions
down 160 to 4,299.
The currently positive are 555,745, down 15,599 on Tuesday.
The recovered and discharged are 21,255,541 (+33,112).
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 21,987,295,
and the death toll 176,009. (ANSA).
