(ANSA) - ROME, SEP 1 - There have been 20,503 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 68 more victims with
the virus, the health ministry said Thursday.
That compares to 21,817 new cases and 90 more victims Wednesday.
Some 155,751 more tests have been done, compared to 167,495
Wednesday.
The positivity rate is up from 13% to 13.2%.
Intensive care cases were down six to 2017 and hospital
admissions down 129 to 4,962.
The currently positive are 634,194, down 11,739 on Wednesday.
The recovered and discharged are 21,078,398 (+32,169).
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 21,888,255,
and the death toll 175,663. (ANSA).
