(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 31 - COVID-19 hospital admissions fell in
Italy for the fifth straight week, by 14.2% during the last
week, hospital group FIASO said Wednesday.
Hospitalizations with the virus started falling at the end of
July and have continued for the whole of August, FIASO said in a
weekly report ending August 30.
Coronavirus admissions to Italian intensive care units (ICUs)
fell by 18.2% over the last week, the group said. (ANSA).
