COVID: 31,088 new cases, 98 more victims

(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 30 - There have been 31,088 new cases of COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 h ours, and 98 more victims with the virus, the health ministry said Tuesday.
    That compares to 8,355 new cases and 60 more victims Monday.
    Some 208,996 more tests have been done, compared to 62,967 Monday.
    The positivity rate is up from 13.3% to 14.9%.
    Intensive care cases are down three to 226 and hospital admissions down 204 to 5,427.
    The currently positive are 660,241, down 8,523 on Monday.
    The recovered and discharged are 21,010,197 (+39,512).
    The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 21,845,943, and the death toll 175,505. (ANSA).
