Man arrested for killing woman near Varese

(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 19 - A 60-year-old man was arrested Friday on suspicion of murdering a 73-year-old woman found with her skull caved in near Varese on July 22.
    The man has a record for theft and defrauding the elderly, police said.
    The woman, Carmela Fabozzi, was found dead in her home at Malnate.
    The man, whom the victim knew, went on holiday on the day of the murder and stayed away till August 17.
    He was a volunteer as an association that helps the elderly.
