(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 17 - There have been 36,265 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 128 more victims
with the virus, the health ministry said Wednesday.
That compares to 8,944 new cases and 70 more victims Tuesday.
Some 228,707 more tests have been done, compared to 63,549
Tuesday.
The positivity rate is up from 14% to 15.8%.
Intensive care cases are up 22 to 288 and hospital admissions
down 205 to 7,339. (ANSA).
