(ANSA) - ROME, AUG 9 - A 12-year-old Italian boy on a bike
was killed by a hit and run driver in Milan Monday night,
sources said Tuesday.
The boy was killed instantly, they said.
The accident happened late Monday evening in via Bartolini on
the outskirts of the Lombardy capital.
The driver did not stop to offer assistance.
The man has been identified by the police.
They are said to be weighing his position.
An autopsy has been ordered.
Emergency teams rushed to the scene but were unable to do
anything for the victim. (ANSA).
