(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 19 - Roberta Tintari, the mayor of the
seaside town of Terracina, was put under house arrest on Tuesday
in relation to a corruption probe.
The case regards alleged graft in the use of the town's beaches
by the private sector in 2019, sources said.
Tintari, a member of the right-wing Brothers of Italy (FdI)
party, was among five people arrested.
Two members of Tintari's executive and the head of the council
assembly were arrested too. (ANSA).
