(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 6 - The number of minors in Italy's
hospitals with COVID-19 has almost doubled in one week, rising
by 84% from 51 on June 28 to 94 on July 5, according to data
released by the Federation of Health and Hospital Agencies
(FIASO) on Wednesday.
It said 78% of those cases regarded children aged under five.
COVID-19 vaccines are not yet available in Italy children in
this age group. (ANSA).
