(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 4 - A thief snatched a 700,000 euro watch
from a man's wrist in central Milan at the weekend.
The 58-year-old victim had his Richard Mille timepiece stolen in
Corso Venezia in the Lombardy capital.
Shortly afterwards a 62-year-old American tourist from Florida
had his 40,000 euro watch snatched not too far away.
The Rolex was taken by a man on a scooter driven by an
accomplice.
The thefts follow a wave of similar incidents in Naples that has
prompted the city council to offer immediate, but much cheaper,
replacements. (ANSA).
