Suspect envelope blown up at Fincantieri works

(ANSA) - ROME, JUL 4 - A suspect envelope that appeared to contain a cylinder was blown up in a controlled explosion by a police bomb disposal team at the La Spezia works of Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri on Monday.
    Officials said they were made suspicious by the fact that the envelope did not bear the sender's name, had no protocol number and had an out-of-date address on it.
    It was blown up safely.
    Work at the yards continued unaffected. (ANSA).
