(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 28 - Former Bari preliminary
investigations judge (GIP) Giuseppe De Benedictis got 12 years
and eight months in jail for arms trafficking on Tuesday.
One of his two co-defendants, farmer Antonio Tannoia got the
same term for the same conviction, possession and trafficking of
arms and explosives, also weapons-grade, plus ammunition, as
well as receiving stolen goods.
The third defendant, army corporal Antonio Serafino,
plea-bargained five years in jail. (ANSA).
