(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 28 - The proportion of Italy's
intensive-care places occupied by COVID-19 patients rose to 3%
on Monday, up one percentage point in 24 hours, the National
Agency for Regional Health Services (AGENAS) said on Tuesday.
As a result, the ICU occupancy rate is the same as it was a year
ago.
This level remains well below the alarm threshold of 10%.
Coronavirus contagion has been rising sharply in Italy in recent
