(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 28 - Papal delegate for organizing the
2025 Holy Year Msgr Rino Fisichella on Tuesday unveiled the logo
and first events for the Roman Catholic Jubilee in three years
time.
He said the two and a half years separating us from the event
"will serve to make Rome and Italy a city and a country which
once more will be able to show the best of themselves with their
tradition for welcome which over the course of the centuries
have made them 'patria comunis'," or 'common homeland' in Latin.
Among the events lined up are commemorations of the
groundbreaking Vatican II reforms and others fostering the
spiritual renewal which the Jubilee entails, Fisichella said.
