COVID: 24,747 new cases, 63 more victims

Positivity rate up from 24.3% to 24.5%

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 27 - There have been 24,747 new cases of COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 63 more victims of the virus, the health ministry said Monday.
    That compares to 48,456 new cases and 44 more victims Sunday.
    Some 100,959 more tests have been done, compared to 199,340 Sunday.
    The positivity rate is up from 24.3% to 24.5%.
    Intensive care cases are up seven to 234 and hospital admissions up 341 to 5,873.
    The currently positive are 738,851, up 5,411 on Sunday.
    The recovered and discharged are 17,352,245, up 19,545 on Sunday.
    The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 18,259,261, and the death toll 168,165. (ANSA).
