Omicron 5 up from 23% to 34.4% in a week - ISS

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 24 - The prevalence of the COVID-19 sub-variant Omicron BA.5 has risen from 23.1% last week to 34,4% as of June 23, the Higher health Institute (ISS) said Friday.
    Over the last three weeks it has risen from 16.2%, the ISS said.
    In the same time span the BA.4 sub-variant rose from 8.9% to 11.4% and then 18.2% this week. (ANSA).
