Nursery head and a teacher probed for mistreating kids

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 23 - The head and a teacher in a nursery school in the province of Varese north of Milan have been placed under investigation on suspicion of mistreating the children there.
    Prosecutors say the two women verbally and physically attacked their charges, as well as shouting at them.
    The case was opened after some parents complained.
    The two women have been ordered to stay away from Varese.
