Gas supplies outstrip demand by 20 mn cubic metres

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 22 - Gas supplies to Italy currently outstrip demand by 20 million cubic metres despite Gazprom having halved its supply, Snam said Wednesday.
    The International Energy Agency (IEA) warned Wednesday that Europe should prepare for a total stoppage of Russian gas supplies.
    Gas prices were on the rise again, reaching 128 euros per MWh.
    Italy is seeking a gas price cap at the EU level. (ANSA).
