Man runs police check-point near St Peter's

(ANSA) - ROME, JUN 20 - A 49-year-old Albanian man ran a police checkpoint near the Vatican Sunday morning as Pope Francis was delivering his traditional Angelus blessing.
    Police fired at the BMW's wheels after the man tried to run them over and the car was stopped after a high-speed chase near Via della Conciliazione, flooded with pilgrims at the time.
    The man was eventually subdued with a taser. (ANSA).
