(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 27 - A 49-year-old Italian worker fell
from scaffolding and died in Messina on Thursday, La Gazzetta
del Sud reported Friday.
Salvatore Marchetta lost his balance and fell to his death while
mounting a fixture on the second floor of a house being built in
the Papardo district of the eastern Sicilian coastal city.
Marchetta, who was also a steward at Messina soccer stadium,
died after an surgical operation, which proved to be vain.
