(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 27 - There have been 19,666 new cases of
COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 105 more victims of
he virus, the health ministry said Friday.
That compares to 20,322 new cases and 94 more victims Thursday.
Some 198,897 more tests have been done, compared to 203,607
Thursday.
The positivity rate is steady at 9.89%.
Intensive care cases are down 10 to 252 and hospital admissions
down 224 to 5,558.
The currently positive are 738,946, down 14,802 on Thursday.
The recovered and discharged are 16,449,697, up 34,748 on
Thursday.
The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 17,355,119,
and the death toll 166,476. (ANSA).
