Ukraine: Urgent to assist Kyiv, aggression breaches rights

(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 20 - Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said Friday "it is urgent to adopt and apply with conviction the modifications to the plan of action on Ukraine agreed with Kyiv, which make it an effective instrument to make sure Ukraine can bear the consequences of the Russian aggression." Di Maio said "assistance to Ukraine is an important decision.
    "There is no need for me to recall the gravity of the current picture; the aggression is a flagrant violation of international law that directly strikes the Ukrainian population.
    "The consequences of the conflict are multiple and dramatic for Ukraine but also for Europe and the world". (ANSA).
