(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 5 - Urgent international action is needed
on the Ukraine war, President Sergio Mattarella said Thursday.
"What is happening today in Ukraine spurs the need for an urgent
international initiative," he said in a message on Italy's
national day against paedophilia and child pornography.
"The condition of children living in a zones of armed conflict
today is dramatic.
"They are stories of trampled rights, denied childhoods, lives
broken which cannot leave us indifferent.
"The reception of refugees carried out in many countries must be
careful not to create the conditions for the exploitation of
minors". (ANSA).
