Italy set for hot spell before cool Easter weekend

(ANSA) - ROME, APR 13 - Italy is set for a spell of hot weather this week, with temperatures 5-6°C above the average for the period, before cooling down sharply over the Easter weekend, according to Lorenzo Tedici, the meteorologist for the www.iLMeteo.it website.
    Temperatures are forecast to peak on Thursday and Friday before the arrival of a cold front from Russia. (ANSA).
