(ANSA) - ROME, APR 4 - Foreign Minister Luigi Di Maio said
Monday "the images of the atrocities at Bucha have left us in
shock."
He said "those responsible must be held to account for what
happened" in the Ukrainian city where mass civilian graves were
found after a Russian withdrawal.
"Italy reaffirms its strong condemnation for the unacceptable
and unjustifiable Russian aggression on Ukraine," said the
minister.
Di Maio was speaking in Zegreb after a Northern Adriatic
Trilateral meeting with his Slovenian and Croatian counterparts.
As well as the mass graves, civilian bodies were found in the
streets of Bucha, some with their hands and feet bound. (ANSA).
