(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 28 - The Omicron variant of COVID-19
accounted for 95.8% of the cases registered in Italy on January
17, with the once-dominant Delta strain down to 4.2%, according
to a flash survey by the Higher Health Institute (ISS) and the
health ministry together with the regional laboratories and the
Bruno Kessler Foundation. (ANSA).
