(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 6 - ISTAT said Monday that Italian online
sales fell by 3.7% in October with respect to the same month in
2020, the first drop in year-on-year terms since the start of
the statistical series in 2016.
The national statistics agency said that this was due in part to
high level of online sales registered in October 2020.
ISTAT said overall retail sales were up 0.1% in value terms in
October with respect to September and by 3.7% year-on-year.
