(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 30 - A column of smoke was seen rising
from an Eni oil refinery in coastal Tuscany, preceded by what
sounded like explosions, on Tuesday.
Smoke from the refinery at Stagno is visible from far off.
The mayor of the nearby town of Collesalvetti, Adelio Antolini,
said: "we were having a council meeting and they reported the
case to us. A column of black smoke is visible which can even be
seen from Collesalvetti, after they say at least three loud
bangs were heard". (ANSA).
