(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 29 - An orange weather alert is in force
in Calabria and Campania Monday as rain and snow continues to
batter Italy along with high winds.
There is a yellow alert in another seven regions: Abruzzo,
Basilicata, Lazio, Molise, Sardinia, Sicily and Umbria.
Storms and gale-force winds are affecting the south and centre
of the country.
Snow has fallen above 700-900 metres in central regions and
Sardinia.
Over half a metres has fallen in Alto Adige too.
The island of Capri has been cut off by heavy seas. (ANSA).
