(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 29 - The proportion of hospital places
taken up by COVID-19 patients is over the alert threshold of 15%
in two regions and one autonomous province, AGENAS, the national
agency of regional health services, said on Monday.
It said the proportion was up to 22% in Friuli Venezia Giulia
and 18% in Valle d'Aosta and the autonomous province of Bolzano,
according to data for November 28.
It said the proportion was also up in Campania (to 9%), Abruzzo,
Veneto and the autonomous province of Trento (8%).
It said the proportion for the nation was a whole was 9%.
AGENAS said the proportion of intensive-care places occupied by
coronavirus sufferers nationwide was steady at 7%.
But it added that the proportion for ICU places was up in five
areas - Lazio (10%), autonomous province of Trento (8%),Molise
and Sardinia (7%), and Umbria, which leaped up to 11%. (ANSA).
