COVID: 4,866 new cases, 50 more victims

Currently positive start rising again

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 28 - There have been 4,866 new cases of COVID-19 in Italy in the last 24 hours, and 50 more victims of the virus, the health ministry said Thursday.
    That compares with 4,598 new cases and 50 victims, the same as Thursday, on Wednesday.
    Some 570,335 more tests have been done, compared with 468,104 Wednesday.
    The positivity rate is down from 1% to 0.85%.
    Intensive care cases were up six and hospital admissions down six.
    The currently positive are 76,778, up 1,413 on Wednesday in a rare recent daily rise.
    The recovered and discharged are 4,548,449, up 3,400 on Wednesday.
    The case tally since the start of the pandemic is 4,757,231, and the death toll 132,004. (ANSA).
